SHIPPING POLICY 

UK Shipping

1. Shipping Service

All orders within the UK are shipped via Royal Mail. Standard shipping costs a flat rate of £3.99.

2. Delivery Time

Delivery is estimated to take 2-5 business days from dispatch. We aim to process and ship orders within 1-2 business days.

3. Tracking and Responsibility

Royal Mail does not require a signature for standard delivery. Once dispatched, we are not liable for delays or missed deliveries caused by Royal Mail. If your order does not arrive within 7 business days, please contact us for assistance.

4. Returns and Refunds

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item received is incorrect or damaged. Refunds are processed upon receiving the returned item in its original condition.

5. Liability

We are not responsible for delays due to unforeseen events such as postal strikes or weather conditions. Our liability is limited to the value of the goods purchased.

International Shipping (USA Mainland)

1. Shipping Service

All shipments to the U.S. are handled via Royal Mail Signed For. A signature is required upon delivery, and tracking will be provided.

2. Shipping Costs

Shipping fees are based on the total weight of your order. The cost is calculated at checkout. Orders over 2kg may be split into multiple packages with additional fees.

3. Delivery Times

Delivery typically takes 5-10 business days. We dispatch orders within 1-3 business days, though this may vary during peak times.

4. Customs and Duties

Import duties, taxes, and customs fees are the buyer's responsibility and are not included in the shipping cost.

5. Responsibility and Signatures

The package requires a signature upon delivery. If no one is available, redelivery must be arranged with the local courier. Once signed for, the package becomes the recipient's responsibility.

6. Lost or Damaged Shipments

For lost or delayed packages, contact us after 10 business days. If damaged items are received, notify us within 48 hours for a refund or replacement.

7. Prohibited Items

Some items may be restricted or prohibited for shipment to the U.S. Review our list of restricted items before ordering.

8. Returns

Return shipping costs are the buyer's responsibility unless we shipped the wrong item. Refunds are issued upon receipt of returned goods in original condition.

9. Liability

We are not responsible for delays beyond our control (e.g., customs or courier strikes). Our liability is limited to the value of the purchased goods.

Additional Information

Please note that Uzuri Asili is not liable for any lost or stolen packages.

It is the customers responsibility to ensure that the delivery address is inputted correctly. If given the wrong address, and the parcel is returned to Uzuri Asili, you will be required to pay an additional shipping fee to ensure the parcel is re-delivered to the correct address.​

Please note orders are not processed on Saturdays, Sundays and UK Bank Holidays.

Uzuri Asili cannot be responsible for unanticipated delays. Please email uzuriasili@outlook.com if your order does experience a delay by Royal Mail and we will do our very best to help.

As soon as your order is dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation which will allow you to track the status of your shipment online. Should there be any unforeseen delays with processing your order, you will be notified within 48 hours from when the order was placed.

If you wish to cancel or modify your order, please send an email within 24 hours of placing your order to uzuriasili@outlook.com. Our hours are Monday–Friday, 9AM–5.30PM. We will try to accommodate your request, but once an order has been submitted, we cannot guarantee the purchase can be cancelled or modified. Once the order has been processed & fulfilled, no changes or cancellations can be made.

Our goal is to provide complete, accurate, and up-to-date information on our website. Unfortunately, it is not possible to ensure that any website is completely free of human or technological errors. This website may contain typographical mistakes, inaccuracies, or omissions, some of which may relate to pricing and availability, and product information. We reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions, including after an order has been submitted, and to change or update information at any time without prior notice.

Product images on our website are displayed as accurately as possible but colours may vary, and we cannot guarantee your computer, phone or tablet will display colours accurately.

If we have emailed you regarding your order and have not had a response after 5 business days, we will treat the order as cancelled.
